Today's run was... didnt meet my personal target but did improve since last yr. but could hav done better if i did train.. but anyway, beat atticus who had more trainings than me. haa. looking forward to beating him in OCBC cycling 2010. beat him in 2009. haha.
Also considering if i shud join 42k again.. quite tough.. but can also think it as paying 56 for the event tee and the finishers tee. haha. quite worth. pay $56 for adidas singlet and finisher's tee. but this time gotta train atleast 15x and do better than this yr.. must break the 5hr barrier nex yr.
SCM not bad la.. Mok Ying Ren broke singapore record in his 1st marathon. haha. zai man...

Hello!

yeah! entered into holidays!! 6 weeks left.. still haven found a job.. needa find one soon to buy bike stuff:) in the mean time, jus gonna slack,cycle and run.. hha. was super bored today.. didnt go out and nth to play at home.. was literally rotting away.. supposed to go run at 6.30 jus now. but suddenly rain so heavily.. haiz.. hopefully it doesnt rain tml.. so can go train cycle at pierce. recently ran SA's 2.4 route and was so dissapointed.. 9.22.. haiz.. aiming to run below 9.. when i did the 1st loop, i told my self siao liao.. something wrong.. not in good condition to run.. and MILO tryathlon is jus 5 days away.. swim, cycle, run... needa train once more..

enjoyed ytd's youth service. presence of God was sooo strong.. haven felt this for a long time.. if rena didnt take the mic to encourage the youths to respond, i would have gone to do tat(1st time i was led to do tat). i believe God has worked in some of the youths hearts ytd. i sure tat they are so afreshed after being touched again by God. If every week is like this, how good it is. jus enjoying his presence..

celebrated chari's b'dae after service.. yj did most of the cooking for dinner. the jap curry not bad. the mushroom thingy was good though i don like mushrooms. haha.. went to ice cream chef for ice cream(duh) after bena's house.. ice cream not very nice la.. b&j nicer:) but ytd chari's b'dae so got free mix in..

Hello!!

OCBC Cycling on sunday was not bad. the route was good and quite satisfied with myself.. haha.. came in at 1.18.05 for a 42km route.. bluff me lor.. say its 40km.. was looking at my speedo at 38km mark.. counting down to the 40k end.. but 40k alr.. still haven finish.. sianzz.. but overall not bad la.. i think my new shoes made a difference.. beat atticus and daren by 2-4 mins.. haha.. but still lost to thaddeus by slightly less than 10 mins.. haiz.. needa improve my speed.. i was going only at 31kph.. and came in 38 position for my age group.. thad came in 9 sia.. 35kph.. the top for every age group came in at 59.2x mins.. tats abt 40kph.. if i had a better bike, 35kph shudnt be a prob.. but with my bike, owned quite a few ex bikes with carbon wheels. HAHA!.

20 more hrs and its HOLS!! 7 weeks!! needa find pt/fl jobs to buy bike accessories.. microB paper tml.. 3/4 done.. hope to get a B for this as my biochem is GG.. ok.. tats all for today.. gonna study abit more than go for tv. haha..

Hey!

Yeah! Got a pair of adidas cycling shoes and clip pedals:) already tested it out. quite easy to use. but quite dangerous when cycling on road also.. still haven master how to clip in fast when green light shows.. haha.. OCBC cycling in 2 days!! gonne collect race pack later. shiok man. got cycling jersey worth $100 when i only paid $43 for the registration. haha.. Hope can maintain 32kph on that day.. with clips, supposed to increase efficiency by 30%. dunno how true is that. gonna see on sunday. haa.

Exams Updates
3 down 2 to go!! another 5 days!! counting down to 25/2/09 man. after tat is 7 weeks of HOLS!!!
Cell Bio:relatively easy as 40 MCQ and 2 SAQ which teacher alr told us to focus on those 2 topics.s haha.. but did quite a few careless mistakes.. so A is out la..
BioStats:only practice 2-3 qns per topic as didnt hav much time.. last min is like tat de.. but should be able to pass by the grace of God.
OrgChem:haiz.. paper was quite hard.. didnt study alot also.. last min also.. alot ppl found it hard.. so maybe will moderate abit.. if not only 20% chance of passing paper.. overall shouldnt be a prob.. but most is D+..
Left BioChem and MicroB.. biochem:ALOT to study man.. haven start yet.. MicroB:1/3 way thru.. easier than biochem.. so shouldnt be a prob.. i hope ;)

OK. tats all for now.. gonna get ready to go sa take thing and head down to city hall to collect race pack..

Hi all. haven been posting for 2 mths liao. haha. will jus update briefly.
thank God for my common test results thought not good at all, but i got 1A and 3D despite studying only a day before. and not the whole day somemore.
went cycling ytd and improve on my speed despite doing lunges before tat. haha
gotta keep training till i hit 40kph. body aches abit now..

wah.. havent been posting for 11 days..
I'll jus state the events for the past 11 days..
15/11: went kayaking with the sec 1s and 2s at kallang.. was hoping to sun tan.. but at ard 10 plus it started raining heavily and thru out the day.. there was no sun.. haiz.. the worst thing is tat the water is SOOO DIRTY! so many dead fishes.. so much bacteria!!
16/11: went to buy phone after service @ douby.. alr decided wad phone to get.. went to register and buy.. waited quite long.. around 45 mins b4 its my turn.. went to cartel for lunch after tat.. had pork ribs which were quite nice.. but quite ex also luh..
19/11: did my report during IT prac.. didnt really follow thru the lesson as was doing report.. die.. project dunno noe how to do anot.. went wif jiahui to expo for Asia Conference. so excited. went to find abraham to get passes for jiahui.. joined abraham and matthew. waited for his other frens at hall 7 for free dinner.. hahas.. jon decided to come too.. i think God had planned all this.. when at the mrt, i told him if sembawang didnt rain, u come. becos if it rains, jon wouldnt go.. and it really didnt rain! Praise the Lord!! the gates for the delegates was suppose to open at 6.20 so will get priority entry.. but jon would only reach at 6.30.. and i really dunno wad to do at tat time.. if it opens at 6.20 and i wait for jon until 6.30.. i may not hav a seat.. and i dun wan go overflow.. and guess wad? i think God had delayed the time the gates open. It didnt open until 5 mins after jon arrived. everything like so nice. Praise the Lord Again!! Went into the hall when it open.. there was ALOT of ppl.. priority entry?? like got ppl even more priority.. took quite awhile to find seats.. and not together.. the opening was nice and good.. except tat i find the intro of the different ministries abit long.. worship was quite good also.. felt the holy spirit moving.. but no alter call luh.. everything was quite good. jack neo was interviewed there too.. i think got tat interview becos no don moen performance.. so sadz.. suppose to hav de..
20/11: wanted to go AC today again.. but gab sms me ask wan to play bowling anot.. haiz.. went to play bowling instead of going AC.. forgot tat after 6 is a diff price.. reach there see the price $3.80.. spent $20+ for today liao.. haiz.. so decided to go AC tml..
21/11: self proclaim sch ends at 12. hahas.. went to meet daren at yishun to bowl again.. this time spend only $8.70.. so much cheaper.. bowled a double at the end of my lousy score with a 8 pound ball.. if i found this ball earlier.. could avg 120 i guess.. didnt go AC today again cos pastor kong will be preaching.. dunno why i dun like him preach also.. so slacked at home after bowling..

22/11: went church at 8 to meet daren and pan for run.. ran until lower pierce and back.. didnt run all the way la.. cos daren needa stop.. had macs for lunch and realised tat it was SO expensive after buying.. headed to marina.. liwei and daren played 2 games before the comp.. there also very ex.. $4 per game.. and lanes,balls,service all very LOUSY.. but found a fitting ball and did better than my previous 2 days games.. 6 person per lane.. quite squeezy.. didnt win any prize but i think shu be in top 8.. hahas.. after dinner went cathay.. gab treat b&j. hahas. Thx again!
23/11: todays soccer training was the toughest i guess.. but not enuf for me.. dun feel the ache anywhere yet.. but ran on sat then today did some leg training also.. shud be ok la.. only 2 weeks left b4 stan chart..

yoyoyo!!!
haven been posting for past 1-2 weeks.. gonna post about today..
had IT prac today.. well.. was kinda waste of time.. but atleast i learnt sumthing new today! learnt abt access 07.. abt database.. as i didnt noe how to use it.. it was kind of... messy.. planned to meet daren to run at 4+ but sch ended @ 2+ so went to novena to walk walk.. see so many things want to buy.. watch(polar 200sd),Sunglasses(oakleys m frame),shoes(asics ds trainer),trisuit(newbalance)... the newbalance one was the cheapest i saw there.. the rest were like $160-210... although is not much of a need.. but wanted it for next yr races.. went to the adidas shop, saw shirts and singlets at half the price!! so much cheaper then wad i bought.. felt to sianz... when reaching home.. sum1 from adidas called me!! she said the miInspirator contest which i took part..my tagline was selected!! and i was SOO HAPPYYY!!! pan also won! haha.. was raining.. so didnt run..
k..now needa save up for sprint duathlon and triathlon(maybe) next year.. also saving up for a pair of cycling shoes and pedals.. for shoes think im gonna get a triathlon type one.. so transition will be better.. easier to wear also.. haiz.. still haven train for my half marathon.. need to do atleast 2 runs before 7 dec.. canot lose to pan!! but he run like twice a week w/o fail and i didnt even train..but hope i can make it within 2 hrs and beat him!!

yoz all.. haven been posting for 5 days.. haha was quite lazy to post..
after the last post on 23rd oct.. many things happened. but wont be writing abt all.. so am jus gonna write about adventure last sat..
ok here it goes..
the adventure was long and boring.. but the group i took was not bad la.. all 4 of them very cooperative and didnt giv problems.. ya.. so it was quite a time of fellowship between us.. during the hike was 'adventurest' (however u spell it) cos of the dogs.. we started not long and came past 3 dogs.. the dogs bark at us and were like so close to us la.. its like they're gonna attack anytime.. then the whole group continued walking and left me and gab behind.. gab didnt move so i stopped behind him.. the 3 dogs kept staring at us and barking like mad.. they were like 1m away only la.. we walked off but the dogs still kept following and barking like siao until about 10m away.. blah blah blah.. towards the end.. all of them were like dead tired.. had to motivate them to finish it.. last checkpoint was end point at kranji dam.. so i made a deal with them.. i help them carry the 2 tents, they run to complete it.. of cos they canot run until the end la.. but at least run awhile so can finish faster.. ya.. so i carried 2 tents and ran with them.. but it feels quite nice to run while carrying 2 tents.. haha.. ya.. so reach the end and blah blah blah.. waited for bus to come to go back sch.. played soccer awhile after dismissal and headed to macs to eat.. pampered myself with hotcakes.. haha..
ok.. gonna watch singapore OK alr.. will try to post soon.. haha..

ok.. im jus gonna start..
met ernest and raymond in sch then went sengkang to meet alissa and gab to buy cake.. headed off to his house.. while walking to hise house.. ernest told us tat they going ikea.. and we were like WHAT!! tats gonna take very long.. and gab hav to go off early.. searched for a place to hide the shoes so tat he would noe we were here..and how great, there is a door beside his house.. as in not his home door but i think its to hide the pipes and stuff.. ya.. so hid our shoes there.. went to his room and ya slack around while waiting for chari's green light to start preparing the cake.. it was abt 5.45 and gab gotta go alr.. ya.. so he actually touch the wall and went off.. haha..
blah blah blah...
our VIP has arrived.. he entered the room shocked.. some threw pillows at him but.. sianz.. he run out so fast.. then i took the cake out.. his face looked so surprise la.. think he knew tat somethings gonna happen but dunno when.. so hah.. still surprise rite? sing song,cake cut eat cake.. the cake not bad leh.. haha.. after all this we headed to pp as i got meeting and ernest needa go sajc..
after dinner abt 9.40 went to a block to play boggle.. played until abt 10.40 and it didnt felt like tat time luh.. haha.. time flies.. k..

haiz.. today IT for life sciences lecture was super...BORING... everything was so... dunno how to described.. its jus the basics of the basics which dun nid to be thaught.. its a waste of time la.. next was organicChem prac.. which is even WORST... subra the lecturer talks super LOUD... its like using a loud hailer in a lab.. jus a small room with 20+ of us.. talk until so long winded also... some was so easy to understand and he elaborate until so much.. then some mroe diff spend so little time.. prac can finish in 1 hr 30 mins de.. he drag until the full 3 hrs... he talk longer my blood vessels will burst la.. blood boiling inside... the prac was quite lame also la.. build molecules structure.. next week part 2.. sian.. needa prepare some stuff liao.. if not canot tahan..
went gym wif jon and mave at yck gym.. didnt feel tat it was enuf.. i told jon and mave tat we shud hav used the free time in sem 1 to do sumthing like gym or sports.. instead of staying in the lib and rot.. come to think of it.. it was really a waste of time last sem.. shud have thought of this earlier.. but nvm.. now on thurs we plan to go swim or gym.. so ya.. can train abit and stuff... also plan to go cycling soon.. will be more interesting this sem la.. if not like poly life like very boring...

wah.. like haven posted for 4 days.. so back posting again..
haiz.. laptop spoil.. after i change reso settings for a game.. tried reformating the 1st time but the software installation after 7 hrs stil not done.. don't noe if theres sumthing wrong anot.. so closed it and tried reformating the 2nd time.. got an error msg while reformatting so tried the 3rd time.. again.. error msg.. so called up hp and ask but... tat person serving me cant talk properly.. or maybe i cant hear her clearly.. wasted like 30 mins of phone bill..ask so many stupid qns instead of asking wad happen..now dunno how.. still doing a check if its the hdd problem.. if it is then sian lor.. must go down to hp service center at alexandra technopark.. pray tat can work luh.. haiz..
2nd week of sch was.. cant remember wad happen on monday.. so shall talk abt tuesday.. 5 hrs of lecture.. but we pulled thru.. haaha.. met gab in sch.. 1st time. haha..
posting on a wed afternoon cos no sch!! haha.. e learning.. but e learning would also mean no learning for us.. haha.. maybe only 5% will do e learning.. think im gonna spend my time trying to repair my com..

adventure recce..

posting another one for todays happenings. haha.. hmm.. cycled to SA today for log check for adventure prac next sat. their check was messy la..storeroom in a huge mess too.. found out tat all the compass were spoilt.. cos all put together.. haiz.. gotta waste money buying again.. not cheap leh..
left for lunch at chicken rice shop then headed for kranji. haha pooor clayton waited at kranji for 3 hrs b4 we reach. shant say the reason. haha. took 925 to kranji dam where the start point is. weather was super hot.. but no choice had to carry on.. around 4+ we felt droplets from the sky.. brannigan start to run to the main road. haha. ya.. it started drizzling when we all reached the main road. saw the bus coming and started running for the bus stop. and guess wad? 2 mins after we board the bus, it start pouring man. wah. thank GOD for the bus which came so timely. if not we will all be soaked. cant possibly fit 9 of us in a bus stop without getting wet. haha. ya. really thank god for tat. the bus tat we took didnt go to where elijah parked his bike. so reached chua chu kang and he had to w8 for the rain to stop and go get his bike at kranji dam. haha..train ride back to tpy was long...38 mins!!! bought subway and took 31 with jerald and brannigan then went back sch to take my bike. thank god tat it didnt rain in pp and tat i could cycle back home. Yeah!
ok.. suppose to go cycling wif bran and his church frens but was quite tired.. slept only 6 hrs last nite.. and tml need to wake up early.. haiz.. ok.. gonna stop here. gonna sleeep le..

Chalet..

heh. didnt post ytd cos nth much to write..eh no.. its not nothing to write but.. i came back at abt 12. was to tired to on com.
ytd sch from 2-5.30 then went to cass chalet at nsrcc tanah merah. was super inconvenient but wellz.. gab is fetching haha. went there played pool but only managed to play one game cos it was SUPER COLD.. its like 16 degrees la.
CRAZINESS! went to the bungalow wanting to eat alr. but.. the food were still in the freezer. not even defrost yet.. so cant really bbq. only ate few sausages b4 we managed to tear the satays apart and bbq them..yj mel and i help to bbq the food.. it was super hot la.. poor us..
ya.. bbq until the fire was super small and there wasnt charcoal at tat time.. so stopped.. went to chit chat and fellowship. cass took out a bottle of dunno wad.. not wine and not sparkling juice. 6% alc only la.. all of us took some.. even though not the 'legal' age yet. haha.. asked mel they all to order macs for us cos not enuf food. haha.. ya.. went back quite late.

had sch from 9-10 then next lesson starts at 4..
lecture from 4-6 was quite boring.. actually this module(CellBiology) is boring.. everything is abt CELL!!! but its the MOST impt module.. have to pass it if not next yr cant take 5 modules. which means fail=retain.. so die die canot fail this..

sch started at 9.. had 5 hrs of lectures straight until 2.. was super hungry so went out to buy nuggets during the break at 1. our biochem lecturer told us to use facebook to upload photos abt biochem as a participation component for grading(30%).. was surprise tat lecturers would use facebook for work. the lecture from 1-2 by mr jay was funny la. giving an overview of microB. haah. had practical after lunch and did tests on carbohydrates. lecturer was not bad. very friendly and looked like an acter..(dunno wad name)

no sch today..1 lesson was e learning and 3 hrs of prac was shifted to friday.. so woke up at 8+ today.. wan wake up later also cant.. haiz.. my body clock will auto wake up around this time.. watch dog gone on net. quite a nice show. like home alone. jus finished lunch and dunno wad to do alr..talking to mel and chari on msn.:P think im gonna rot until 5.30 before i go for dinner at kp and meeting..

1st day of sch today.. woke up at 6.45 wash up get ready and eat breakfast and head for sch at 7.10..
was super tired luh.. nvr woke up so early for such long time..6 weeks!!
had biostat lecture at 8.00..learnt permutations and combinations.. 1st part still quite easy. all understandable.. as didnt take a maths in sec sch.. so it will take sum time for me to "warm up" to the topic..thought i dun hav to take maths again.. but..haiz.. its maths AGAIN..heard from my fren tat the later chapters were H2 maths topic. then thought to myself..poly and jc "sama sama" took the same modules as jc.. like InOrganic Chem/Physical Chem/Organic Chem.. all the chem chem stuff..
After biostat lecture was 4 hrs of BREAK!! b4 the next lesson which is at 1..
went to macs outside amk hub and then went to play pool wif 5 other frens at k-pool. spend abt 2 hrs playing there.
headed back to sch for biostat tutorial..and finally the last lesson of the day..ORGANIC CHEM!!
was super tired throughout the lesson..and guess wad? my phone RANG! the whole class looked and laughed. haha.. but the teacher jus carried on with lesson.forget set back to silent mode..

went to buy my favourite wedges and nuggets at canteen..$2 only. haaha:)

hi guys. posting again... check the results for ytd run and it came out to be 1 hr 2 mins.. 72 position out of 200+.. tats like shit... cant expect much.. haha didnt train for it also.. but this coming sunday mt faber run will be better...(i hope so..) ting came in in 59 mins.. 51 position.. 3 mins diff only become 20 positions away.. sianz... as for today.. rotting the whole day.. nvr study or do work.. haha.. nth new.. ok keeping it short for now.. gotta be in sch at 9.30 tml for pw.. and recce for night cycling at night..

Passion run

today..woke up at 5.40 wash up..and left for ecp for passion run.. when reach there was like so many ppl...all in grn singlets..was flagged off at 8.00am. 4 categories were flagged off at 8.. resulting in having to walk for 1 minn before able to run.. too many ppl liao.. I run pass abt more than half of them then started to jog.. feeling of passing them is good^^ haha..didnt train for this run.. so when i saw the 2km mark, i look at ting and said...wad!!only 2km.. still got 8 more to go.. anw.. hav to continue running.. went on running and reach abt 4.8k mark and saw 50m to u turn..was like so happy to see it.. but after running like 100m, still didnt turn...Finally!! reach the u turn point(5km mark). i started walking liao..needa shit..haha...ting went on. from 6-9k was like so long... saw the 9k mark, jog for awhile more then started sprinting.. and again.. they say 50m tats why i started sprinting.. but... its more than 50m.. so i started walking again and when i saw the end point, started spinting again. burn quite a few ppl in last 100m^^but in the end still didnt meet my targer of 50 mins.. sianz.. haha but didnt train canot expect much.. i think my timing is abt 1 hr 5 mins.. will only noe the actual timing 2 weeks later i guess... tats abt it from morning till noon. signing off:)
